Prepare before you submit
Start with the property and the proposed work.
Before assembling a permit application in the Philippines, establish the site location, ownership or authority to build, building use and scope of work. A new home, an apartment, an extension and a change of occupancy may follow different review requirements.
Contact the Office of the Building Official for the city or municipality where the property is located. Request its current checklist, applicable forms and requirements for the professionals responsible for your plans. Do this early, before treating a design or construction schedule as final.
Build an organized document set.
This is an organizing guide, not a substitute for the complete checklist issued by your LGU.
